is the Director of the Institute for Sustainable Energy and Group leader of the Solar Research Lab at the University of Malta. He has a PhD in Physics (Missouri University of Science and Technology). He spent 16 years in the USA where he held senior level posts in a multi-national corporation. Prior to joining University of Malta he was

His main expertise is in Semiconductor and Solar materials and renewable energy systems. He has also managed and executed large projects and organizations.
